What is UI Design?
The term “UI” stands for “User Interface.” The user interface is the graphical layout of an application. It consists of the buttons users click on, the text they read, the images, sliders, text entry fields, and all the items the user interacts with. UI designers are graphic designers. They decide the design of an application or website interface so that it looks attractive, themed appropriately to match the purpose of the website or an application.
UI Design Principles-
Clarity: Everything in the built system, from visual elements, functions, and text needs to be clear and simple. This includes layout as well as the words used.
Consistency: Consistency means the system should have similar functions, uses, and look throughout. For example, the same color scheme should be used throughout an app or website.
Flexibility: The system must be flexible so that the user can access their system easily. The information must be placed consistently to improve the user’s efficiency. For example, the primary menu should be placed on the left to maximize the user’s performance.
Why UI is Important?
Presentation of App/Website:
The presentation of a poorly designed or complex-to-navigate application can leave a bad impact on a client or businessman. That is why businesses invest their resources in finding intelligent UI Designers.Finding the right thing at the right place is essential:Users can navigate in their website/app easily whenever and wherever they want. The website/ App must be user-friendly.
Forms and Functionality are everything-
In the end, it is all worthless if the app/ website functionality is not speedy enough. It helps in saving time.

What is UX Design?
The term UX” stands for “user experience.” A user’s experience of the app/website is determined by how they interact with it. UX designers are also concerned with an application’s user interface, and this is why people get confused about the difference between UI and UX. But UI designers have the responsibility of deciding how the user interface will look and UX designers are in charge of determining how the user interface operates.
UX Design Principles:
Hierarchy– Hierarchy is one of the designers’ best tools that help users to move through a website easily. Top-level hierarchy is the Navigation menu that includes the main section. It provides smooth navigation from one page to another. For example, headings always have larger text than the body. It helps the user to read the content properly.
Understand Accessibility: A designer’s responsibility is to make sure that his design is usable for as many people as possible. This means that their design needs to be accessible to people with disabilities too. It means a non-technical person can also use the website smoothly.
Context is Key:
Designing must be done in taking account of the user’s context. When you are designing a website or app for someone, you must consider the following things: the time available with the user, emotional state, the device he/she is using, the people who influence him/ her, and more. For example, the emotional state of a user refers to how patient or impatient he/she might be while interacting with the user interface of your product or service, so you must have to keep this thing in your mind while designing.
Usability Testing:
‘Usability Testing’ means the interaction of the user with the design. Meanwhile, you have to see whether they encounter any problems. If many people experience similar problems, you will have to make changes to the design to sort out the usability issue.Design demands improvements in all stages. Hence, you should conduct usability tests throughout the UX design process, including before you start your initial design until the end of the process.
UX Design Process?
When a client comes to the designer with a problem, most of the designers jump straight to solutions.
Solving problems the UX way looks like this:
Smart user experience design starts by identifying the problem and guiding all ideas to solve that problem.
